This weekend flew by!! I wish every weekend was a 3 day weekend, I dread Mondays! I just wanted to thank everyone for their support from my last blog! I also want this week to go by quickly because on Thursday I leave for Texas, where it is warm and NOT raining. I plan on just relaxing and possibly reading a book (mom if you are reading this, hopefully you didn’t fall off your chair) Hope everyone has a good week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wow…so I am extremely stressed! and I just want to let out a scream so ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, okay that’s a little bit better. We are short staffed at work this week so it is going to be a long week. I have a bunch of papers that are due this week and next week. On top of that I leave for Texas next week and want to have a relaxing vacation so I NEED to get all of my assignments in before Thursday. I am so thankful for an understanding family and friends. They understand that I have to cancel plans at last minute or cannot go out with them due to schoolwork. This semester has been extrememly different than others because I am in school full-time and working full-time and it is tough, not going to lie.

What to do when you’re sick…

This week I have been home from work because I have the flu. Therefore, I have been spending my days either in bed or on the couch. Luckily, there is the tv for entertainment. Since I have been home and not able to do much since I felt like I was going to die, I have been catching up on tv shows.

I have to say an everday show that I have watched all week is the Ellen Degeneres show. The show is not only hilarious, but her form of entertainment is AWESOME!!! You can really tell that she loves what she does. She is always dancing with her audience and giving away gifts to everyone. And the games she plays are the funniest thing every.

My Grandma

I can’t believe it’s already Friday, but I am so happy it is!!!!

We moved my grandma this week and wow she had a lot of stuff. Now I know who I get my “never throw anything out” characteristic from. But it is good that she was moved to catered living, at least now she will have the opportunity to participate in more daily activities and talk with other people instead of being couped up in her old apartment. She did many actvities yesterday and wasn’t home all day! It’s good to know that she may go back to being the social butterfly she once was.

I just dont understand how one person who was so independent and was so on track with everything can just flip and become a different person who is so dependent and so confused…it’s just not fair. I guess life isn’t fair and all I can do is be thankful for each day that I see her/talk to her/think about her.

Da Bears/Busy Week

Yay the Bears won again!!!!

Ugh this week is going to be crazy busy. We are moving my grandma to catered living this week. On top of that I have 2 papers that are due at the end of the week. Sometimes I wish there was an extra hour or two in the day to get everything done.

A much needed break from homework

Everday I have been working on school work…whether it is reading, taking notes or preparing for a quiz or paper. At least one night a week I try to take a night off or else I will go crazy!

This semester I am more than focused. I feellike I have it all planned out well. Going to work and school full time is definitely difficult. I am just glad that I have a great family and friends to support me. I know I can call my mom and she will try to keep my stress level from going through the roof. I give kudoos to those who are going to school and working full time PLUS have kids!!!

I hope everyone had a great weekend! Mine was very eventful…like I said in my last blog I had to watch my step-sister all weekend. I will be the first to admit 11 year olds are hardwork. I don’t know if it was just her, but their attention span is not very long.

On Friday we had a great meal at Giordano’s mmmmm I love pizza. Then we had a Zac Effron night, we watched High School Musical 3 and 17 Again, which wasn’t that bad of a movie! Then Saturday she had a softball game and I had my family birthday party on my dad’s side of the family. Then we saw the movie FAME, which I would not recommend. All in all it was a good weekend. It was not as relaxing as I thought it was going to be. I was more tired yesterday than if I would have gone out on Saturday night!!

Every Monday I cannot wait for Friday to come! I love weekends! They are the times to spend with family and friends and run errands and just do what you want.

My goal is to try and get all of my school work done during the week so I can relax on the weekends. I know that sometimes there maybe an exception to this, but that is my goal.

This weekend should be interesting…I have to watch my 11 year old step sister all weekend. While my mom and step dad are in S. Carolina on a business trip. Let’s just say thank goodness she is 11 and can pretty much handle anything because I was never one to babysit much. I just hope that by the time my mom comes back one of us is still alive!!!

Law and Order SVU

Tonight I was extremely excited for the new season of Law and Order SVU to premiere. However, I was very disappointed with the hour long segment. Last season ended with a twist and they did not reference back to the last episode of last season at all. Also, there are new characters on the show. These characters made me want to scream because I did not like them AT ALL. Their character role did not suite the show!!

I am having second thoughts about watching the show this season. But I will give it a second chance because I think everything deserves a second chance.

Just Another Monday

I am not a fan of Monday’s! After a great weekend the last thing I want to do is wake up and go to work. It is hard to get back in the grind of things… I think for me it is especially hard because on Sunday’s I sleep in or take a nap and then by the time I go to bed I have trouble sleeping. Then before I know I am hitting the snooze button a million times in the morning dreading getting out of bed and starting my week!

But I am sure glad the Bears Won yesterday!!!!! I am a huge Chicago Fan!

It was quite amusing yesterday because my family and I have regular Sunday dinners. Well yesterday we went to a local restaurant and the game was on. My step-dad and I were laughing and making fun of the people at the restaurant because the way they were cheering you would have thought the Bears won the Superbowl when really they only got a first down!! But GO BEARS!!
